In May 1986, at the request of the regulating body of
osteopaths, Richard represented UK Osteopaths on an
STV live discussion in Glasgow discussing the King’s
Trust Report on the effectiveness of complimentary
therapies.
The result was the acceptability of
osteopath in the NHS.
